Our Mission is two-fold: To provide the best and the most job leads and resources to our members, while maintaining outstanding customer service through individual attention to each one that needs it. And, to offer employers the largest resource for locating qualified candidates for their virtual needs.

Telework Recruiting has a long story. But I'll give you the brief version.

Back in the early 90's before telecommuting was popular, I began searching for a home-based job. The only "jobs" advertised were get-rich-quick schemes, and craft assembly scams. Believe me: I was naive and I paid my dues.

In the mid-90's I stumbled across Outsource2000. Tjobs.com was free, and posted legitimate jobs. However, at that time the job leads were sparse and usually outdated by the time I applied for any of them. I signed up for a six month membership for $35.00 with Outsource2000.

What I was provided was nothing more than a list of major corporations who were said to have at one time hired some homeworkers. When I called the companies on the list I was given, I was usually laughed at by the person on the other end of the phone, or treated rudely because they didn't know what home-based jobs I might be talking about.

Somehow, I knew I could do better than that. I continued to work outside the home, all the while spending my spare time researching the internet for real telecommuting opportunities. I put together a web site to help mothers who wanted to work at home, but not get caught up in scams or silly business opportunities. I called that site, Mommy's Place.NET.

Over the next five or six years I had, through my research, accumulated hundreds of leads and companies that hired home workers for legitimate work. (Thankfully, telecommuting was also growing in popularity.) I learned how to find these companies even though they did not advertise their open positions. And, through sharing these leads with other women, I began to hear from one after the other about how they had found actual work-from-home jobs for the first time, all because of the information on Mommy's Place.NET.

Mommy's Place.NET soon became very popular not only with job seekers (both male and female), but with companies who were learning about us from all the applicants they were getting because of my site. I began to receive "Thank you" letters from companies because of the traffic I was bringing them.

By the year 2002, Mommy's Place.NET had become one of the top -- if not THE top-- telecommuting web site for both job seekers and companies. It was honored with full page exposures in the WEDDLE's 2003 Job Seeker's and Recruiter's Guides, right along side of Monster.com and Career Builder.com. I was chosen as the telecommuting expert for College Recruiter.com. The site's reputation was impeccable.

While other work-from-home sites were selling out to bogus "job ads" from affiliate programs, or posting money making opportunities such as survey taking, Mommy's Place.NET never bowed out. The site grew. It soon began to include home-based job leads and companies for Canadians. By 2003 Mommy's Place.NET's database contained nearly 1000 online companies that either regularly or solely hired homebased workers in over 35 professional categories.

Very recently, to accomodate the real purpose and meaning of our mission, Mommy's Place.NET was changed to Telework Recruiting. Telework Recruiting's goal is to be the top resource for both the job seeker and the employer seeking qualified candidates. We have already helped numerous companies easily find workers because we cater to a niche market. And we have helped thousands of people find employment because we only lead them to real companies that offer legitimate employment.
