Jennifer's Tip:

When I send out a resume for the first time, people often ask me how I get my design elements to line up so nicely.

Most people are accustomed to using to using the "tab key to align text. This, however, is not the best idea because it won't always look the same on someone else's screen (because of monitor settings, operating systems differences, etc.).

The best way to ensure the alignment remains the same on someone else's computer is to make tables. You want your telecommute resume to stand out from the crowd, so experiment with the borders and shading function for bold effects.
